iso into a Install Disc that Bootcamp will recognise? alternatively is there a way to Bootcamp directly from the. iso from Disk Utility with the plan to right click burn from there but "Disk Utility cannot open files in the 'ISO Disk Image' format" iso directly onto a DVD (right click file in finder and select "burn etc.")
When I try to continue, Bootcamp Assistant says "the installer disc could not be found". I select both and the first runs fine placing the support software onto a USB flash drive. When I run the Boot Camp Assistant I am only offered 2 options - "Download the latest Windows support software from Apple", and "Install Windows 7 or later Varsion".
I do not have my original installation DVD but do have my Microsoft product key. I thought I would start from a clean slate and so have deleted the Bootcamp partition. I am re-installing Windows because my existing installation became very corrupted and unrepairable from within. I am trying to re-install Windows 7 onto my 27inch iMac (mid-2010) OSX El Capitan.
